We support innovations in medicine
We are built on a solid foundation of academic research. Our aim is to support the wider scientific community in the development of not-for-profit medical research and clinical applications.
Our mission is to make remote monitoring solutions available to all
We are connecting research teams and building collaborative communities. We would love to support your team with free access to our remote patient monitoring platform, HALO-X. Speak to our team to see how we can provide a personalised free solution for your research.
Innovation through collaboration
We collaborate closely with the CODI Research Group at University College London to develop innovative predictive health models.
Research we have supported
iROC: The CODI team were proud to be involved using Ethera components in this Phase III RCT to determine if robotic surgery was better than traditional open surgery for patients with bladder cancer undergoing major pelvic surgery. The results were published in JAMA in May 2022.
DREAMPath: The single arm phase II tested a multi-device remote monitoring kit for patients to use at home, which replicates in-hospital parameters. Findings suggest that it is feasible to detect acute deterioration in patients at home using remote monitoring solutions.
HALO-S: This single arm phase II study is testing the HALO-X platform to monitor patients after discharge from hospital. This study uses the MyLoopa device to detect acute deterioration in patients in the home setting after discharge from hospital following cancer surgery. Findings suggest that the MyLoopa device can detect acute deterioration in patients. This is an important finding as this study only used one device unlike the DREAMPath study that required five separate devices.
HALO-Trak: Investigators at UCL are using the HALO-X platform to monitor patients during chemotherapy to understand the relation between chemotherapy induced cytokine storms and treatment induced side effects. The study is also measuring how chemotherapy effects the microbiome in patients and how changes in the microbiome impact on wellbeing and activity.
Providing Insights for Clinical Development
Our HALO-X platform can transform patient experience and engagement. Through remote health monitoring and advanced health analytics, we can provide clinical insights to support decision-making and care services.
